Duende is a new Japanese contemporary furniture and interior product label which was launched in September 2002. Duende first showcased its products at world renown furniture fair, 100% Design, London, U.K. This new up and coming brand aims to establish and distinguish itself on the international scene over the coming few years as an interior furnishings label that creates life style products with a distinctive Japanese accent.

The word "duende" has two meaning: "charism", a desirable quality for any brand, & "spirit" or "presence"
Finding inspiration in the meaning behind the label, Duende plans to expand its' product range to include lifestyle products from an array of designers. The common thread that would encompass all of these products would be the 'spirit' behind the brand; a presence that would subtly mold the image of the brand creating one cohesive whole.
